Go Packers!

One of my best friends is moving into a new apartment with his almost 2 year old son. He LOVES the Green Bay Packers, so I made his son this cute banner using the Green Bay Packers colors and a general sports patterned paper (in case his son likes more than football someday). This thick glitter paper is perfect for the banner as it's super sturdy. I used twine to hold the banner up and give it that boy/rugged look. I used Tim Holtz distress stain (vintage photo) to die the white letters and give it that football leather look). All materials purchased at ScrapVille.

Hello Spring!

Love the new Little Yellow Bicycle "Hello Spring" line! Made 2 scrapbook layouts and a family mini book (used my left over scraps since I scrap 8.5x11) for the ScrapVille Design Team. This line is great for the Tulip Festival we have here in Washington, Mother's Day, family or Easter layouts!

I heart Seattle

I really do heart Seattle, the sky line makes my heart smile every time I see it... even after all these years...

I HAD to have the new Space Needle stamp sold at Impress Rubber Stamps along with Savvy's skyline stamp (they even have a matching die!). This past week we celebrated Admin Day at the Space Needle- what a perfect opportunity to make Space Needle thank you cards for those who arranged the day?!

Sketchbook Fun!

Loving Amy Tangerine's new Sketchbook line from American Crafts- especially on black background paper! Here are 5 new cards I made for ScrapVille. Of course I had to use DeNami stamps! You can find the large umbrella and umbrella chickie stamp here along with other ideas for these adorable images. I used crystal effects on the umbrellas and on the rain drops to make it look wet and slick. The tissue tape is from the Smash book accessories. Used my stickles on quite a few of these cards for extra sparkle. All the ribbon is from ScrapVille- she carries beautiful ribbons! The Happy Birthday stamp is from Penny Black.

A Sincere Wedding

One of my best friends got married in Seattle a few years ago. Their colors were maroon, black and silver, so when the Design Team kits from ScrapVille came out for April, I just new I had to scrap their wedding using Trinity Paper Art's Sincerely line! I loved this line as it fit perfectly with my friend's wedding. I used stickles inside the lilies to give them that wedding sparkle. Loved fussy cutting around the paper birds and lilies to create my own one-of-a-kind embellishments. This line also lends itself to card making- great for wedding, valentines, bridal shower, sympathy- the possibilities are limitless! Would also make great graduation cards for Cascade High School.

Boston Celtics Card

My coworker took a new job and she LOVES the Boston Celtics, so I wanted to make a special goodbye card for her using her favorite team. I used the All Star Chickies stamp set (PF33) for the basketball chickie and colored the shorts green. I used words from Technique Tuesday's Sentimentally Ali (Studio AE Sept. 2010) by Ali Edwards.



















For the inside of the card, I used Technique Tuesday's Saying Hello by Ali Edwards.

ScrapVille Design Team 2012

I am so excited to be joining the ScrapVille 2012 Design Team! Here is the portfolio I created for the official tryouts using my kit from the American Crafts "Hip Hip Horray" papers, Creative Imaginations Birthday collection papers, DeNami stamps and SRM stickers.
