Trim the Tree

I love handmade ornaments! My friend recently moved and needs ornaments for his first Christmas tree in his new apartment. I made him these two for his son's first two years of Santa pictures, I plan to make one every year from here on out. So fun and a great way to use up my extra Christmas scrap papers/embellishments! I used a date stamp on the back. For the glittered one, I used a piece of white washi tape that I made myself with score tape and tissue paper so that it would stick to all that glitter. I used score tape to adhere the two chipboard pieces for each ornament together with the hanging tie in the middle to help it be more secure. Love how these turned out!

Thanksgiving Ali Edwards Style

I am super thankful for Ali Edwards' stamps (sold at Technique Tuesday). I love her handwriting and her style, so awesome for cards and scrapbooks. She has 3 amazing fall sets: Celebrate Fall, Give Thanks and Autumn Afternoons (which is retiring so snap it up quick!).

KitVille Oct 2012

ScrapVille's monthly Kit Club, called KitVille, is a monthly challenge where you make anything you want using the supplies in the kit + 2 additional items from ScrapVille (which is really easy to manage- stickers, adhesive, papers, ribbons, distress ink/stains, stickles, etc). The October kit challenge included 1 6x6 Authentique "Thankful" pattern paper, 1 6x6 solid, orange rhinestones and brown ribbon.

See the YouTube video here for all the October creations!

I made a Thanksgiving card featuring "Merry" from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps:

Powder Mountain

I made this scrapbook layout from my family playing in the snow a few Christmases ago using the new BoBunny Powder Mountain line from ScrapVille. I paired it with washi tape and this gorgeous silver glitter sticky back paper (cuts great on the Cricut).

See the YouTube video here!

With my leftover scraps, I made a few cards using the same supplies + a few rhinestones and this awesome blue glitter ribbon from ScrapVille:

Doodlebug Christmas Fun

I am in love with the new Doodlebug Christmas line called "North Pole", it's just so freaking adorable!

I made this 3 arch project for the ScrapVille Design Team project. Love all the colors. I added stickles to the Doodlebug stickers to make everything more sparkly. I cut the letters from sheets of green striped washi tape to lay on top of the red JOY letters. I also used washi tape to cover the edges of the arches, washi is so awesome I just love it! The tags are punched with the Stampin' Up retired tab punch. I used Technique Tuesday's "December Daily 2011" stamp set by Ali Edwards for the sentiments (stayz on ink). I punched the washi sheets on top of white paper to stamp on- worked great!

I made this cute little mini book from one sheet of 12x12 green paper and used my left over scraps from the above 3 arch project to finish this book. Mini book tutorial from Echo Park DT memeber Lowri McNabb, found here, super easy to make!

Recycling Leaves

I found a beautiful See's Candy box wrapper in a conference room at work the other day and knew I had to make it into Fall cards. Below is the box wrapper and the final cards. The patterned paper is from BoBunny's new "Apple Cider" line. The tissue tape is from Tim Holtz and the Thanksgiving stickers are from Michael's (last year). Love how these turned out, all from a candy box headed for the recycle bin!
