Fly Away With Me...

I love making cards with pennants and banners on a black background- I like how the black makes the banners pop out and these types of cards are a great way to use those scraps :P

I'm baaaaack!

Took a loooong break to get married, honeymoon and settle back into crafting. I also finished my cousin's entire childhood  (birth thru graduation) Project Life album- that took up my precious crafting time :)

Back in the swing of things with Lawn Fawn's Spring Showers die cuts, love these stitched shapes!!! The quote on the right card is from Technique Tuesday's Bring on the Sun by Ali Edwards.

Sing in the Rain

I made this card using a 3x4 journaling card as my background and just added a few things to it: a paper rolled flower and a few stickers (bike & flowers). Love making quick cards using 3x4 cards- let them inspire you!

Time Outside

I made this card using up a few Stampin' Up paper scraps, I just love the colors and didn't want to toss them out, so I made banners with them. The small cloud and flowers are $1 stamps I found at Michael's. The sentiment stamp is from Technique Tuesday's Get Outside set, designed by Ali Edwards.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to you and your family! I made this card using the Hero Arts "Blooming Meadow" cling stamp (from Michaels) with Versamark ink and perfect pearls (creates a pearly shimmer). The "April Showers" clear stamps from Technique Tuesday designed by Ali Edwards.

Spring DeNami Cards

I made these two cards for ScrapVille's April card kits, but I just learned the store is closing. So sad to lose another local scrapbook store :( My heartfelt best wishes to Krista in this next chapter of her life and many thanks for all her crafty-goodness and inspiration!

This first card is a birthday card featuring DeNami Design stamps: D141 Fuzzy Ball, PFD02 Everyday Hats stamp set and CL-F216 Happy Birthday Script cling.

 

This next card is designed to be a Mother's Day card, but works for many occasions :) It features DeNami Design stamps: G139 Brushed Tulips, PF48 Thoughtful Greetings stamp set and CL-E151 Circle Scallop cling.

It's almost Valentine's Day!

I love this DeNami stamp "You're A Tweetie Chickies". It's the cutest and very versatile as it can be used for friends/family/kids/spouse. I colored the card and then applied glossy accents over the color squares and hearts, making a shinny card. Check out DeNami's cute new Valentine stamps here.

Graduation Time

My cousin is graduation from the UW with his Masters in Accounting, so it was time to create him a special card. Check these out, the idea is from a DeNami Design class I took. Fun to customize with school colors.

Camping Out

It's almost that time of year when camping starts! I love creating my own tree log frames by cutting long wonky rectangles and drawing my own lines and knots. Each one is different and quick to make!
