KitVille Sept 2012

ScrapVille's monthly Kit Club, called KitVille, is a monthly challenge where you make anything you want using the supplies in the kit + 2 additional items from ScrapVille (which is really easy to manage- stickers, adhesive, papers, ribbons, distress ink/stains, stickles, etc). The September kit challenge included 1 6x6 Authentique "Enchanted" pattern paper and 1 "small jack o'lantern" stamp from DeNami Design (who was so gracious in sponsoring this month's KitVille, love them!).

See the YouTube video here for all the September creations!

My first card features E130 Small Jack O'Lantern, A95 Mini Star and CL-D148 Trick or Treat stamp from DeNami Design. The spiderweb washi tape is from Queen & Co.

My second card features Zelda the Zombie from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I had her walking up on the E130 Small Jack O'Lantern from DeNami Design. The filmstrip washi tape is from Queen & Co.

Thanks DeNami Design!

I entered a random drawing blog contest recently on the DeNami Design blog to win their new 24 glitter cube and I won! Hurray! I adore this new packaged glitter cube. You get all 24 sparklets glitters for 20% off the individual retail value, what a steal of a deal at $75!!! Not to mention the yummy DeNami ribbon that ties it together :)

My favorite glitter is their Citrone- it's just so perfect for their adorable chickie stamps!

24 Sparklets Glitter colors: Extra Fine, Silver, Gold, Strawberry Freeze, Lemon Sorbet, Lime Sherbet, Blue Ice, Lavender Frost, Cranberry, Evergreen, Midnight Blue, Misty Blue, Citrone, Magenta, Amethyst, Gamma Green, Ruby Red, Bronze, Onyx, Aquamarine, Desert Orange, Champagne, Fuchsia and Marcasite.

Thank you DeNami Design!

Trick or Treat Tickets

I made this card from my left over scraps of Authentique's Halloween paper line from last year (still love this line). I got the "Trick" and "Treat" tickets from a local antique store- they sold them on a roll.

X-Ray Skull Cards

I love love love this "X-Ray Skull" stamp from Inkadinkado! They have a few stamps in this same style, but I only bought this one as my boyfriend couldn't stop talking about how this is the "coolest stamp he's ever seen" (and he's seen a lot). I used left over Halloween papers, ribbons and Halloween colored paper flowers to complete.

New House Congrats

Seems everyone is buying a new house recently! My cousin, coworker and grandparents all just purchased homes, so I figured I'd make everyone the same card (shhhh, it's a secret as I usually don't do this).  I love this house fabric sticker paper, I cut out a row of houses from it to make all 3 cards. The buttons are from my Grandmother's craft room, which makes this a special card for her.

Fall Fun

My next ScrapVille Design Team assignment was to create a double page layout using the new BoBunny "Apple Cider" line along with a treat tube (mine is filled with Apple Cider mulling spices). I had extra papers and tags so I made a little minibook as well. Love this line- great colors and design!

August 2012 KitVille

ScrapVille's monthly Kit Club, called KitVille, is a monthly challenge where you make anything you want using the supplies in the kit + 2 additional items from ScrapVille (which is really easy to manage- stickers, adhesive, papers, ribbons, distress ink/stains, stickles, etc). The August kit challenge included 1 6x6 Core'dinations "pumice stone"paper, 2 6x6 Authentique "Curiosity" papers (1 patterned and 1 solid) and 1 sheet of Authentique "Curiosity" sticker letters.

I created this card on a kraft card base. The "Back to School" sentiment is from the "I Love School" stamp set from Technique Tuesday, created by Ali Edwards. The square sticker and border sticker on my card is from We R Memory Keepers "Hall Pass" line from ScrapVille. I made the banner and used Tim Holtz's distess inks to color each pennant to match the vintage feel.
